Baron Balthazar Halloween mask and Costume. They are from 1971. The mask does have wear to include cracks, dents and marks and original elastic is no longer there. The costume has stains and is torn; it is a step into all in one style. Not sure if it can be sewn. The tag says it is a Childs size M 8-10. No Box. The Curiosity Shop was an American children's educational television program created as a commercial rival to the successful public television series Sesame Street. It featured Baron Balthazar, a bearded, derby-hatted little man who would spin tales, in animated form, about his adventures and inventions back in his homeland, "Downtown Bosnia". He would share this with three inquisitive children (two boys and a girl) who each week visited the shop that was populated with various puppets and gadgets, discovering interesting things about science, nature and history. Each hour-long show covered a specific theme: clothing, music, dance, weather, the five senses, space, time, rules, flight, dolls, etc. The Curiosity Shop was broadcast from 1971 to 1973 and all episodes of the series, except for the pilot episode, are presumed lost.
