Very rare Betty Lou Nichols Bobble head Elephant Many know her as the "head vase" Queen but she also made many other wonderful items. This was made to represent the Elephant for the Republican Party. He can be found on page 151 of the head vases guide book. It is in remarkable condition for its age. He is approx 5" tall. There is some minor paint loss/flea bites to the stem(the part the head rests on) There also appears to be hand painted portions by the artist; I noticed a small area of the bottom lip appeared to be hand painted. I guess this was missed before the glaze was put on. This elephant would make a fabulous gift for anyone who collects Betty Nichols pottery, California pottery or Republican/elephant figures.
